Photo of the Day 233 Book Store
When I was growing up my father would take me to a library or a Barnes and Noble. We would spend a good 2 hours browsing books to purchase or borrow. By the time I was in first grade I didn’t have interest in typical children books. Occasionally, I’d read a classic like Scary Stories, although while attending Catholic school I wasn’t allowed to borrow any of the more advanced books I was accustomed to reading, I’d go with my father to get the books I’d enjoy reading. I always had an interest in art, space, fringe science and the unexplained. So… I’d borrow a random book from the library at school and head to the local library to borrow books that were meant for adults that I actually enjoyed reading.
Fast forward to today I frequently go to the library or Barnes and Noble, grab a coffee, browse books and purchase magazines with inspiration photos. A good book, or magazine in your field of interest can give you the insights to improve your life whether it be career, craft or relationship!
